Primal Food Pyramid

The nutritional strategies used in the 12-week Rebuild Your Health course are based upon the Primal Diet. The Primal Diet is based upon the foods that mankind ate prior to civilization and the beginning of agricultural grain crops. The principal features of the diet include:

 

  • Nutritious, satisfying, high nutrient value, low insulin-stimulating foods

  • Low carb, moderate protein, ample nutritious fats

  • Flexible choices and meal habits by personal preference

  • Free of sugars, grains and refined vegetable oils
